Trying to develop a system that runs locally and not finding any info on creating a que if there isn't a connection available. Is it possible? Maybe a future option.
Thanks

There isn't anything built in. How would you connect to the site without an internet connection to begin with?

Payment que

Hey Ray
This application would be running in a local environment that mirrors a web based environment when internet connection
may be lost for redundancy. In example:
www example.com would still work locally after internet went down as www.example.com with dns configured correctly.
When the web based version no longer resolves, local version is served. The site is the same and SSL and server is the same so all can carry on without an internet connection . The only thing that will fail is the payments that have to travel via internet... a que would enable payments to be served when the connection is restored. This is for restaurant based pos system which can carry on with internet service outages.

I hope that helps clear things up!!

You may be able to use a cookie or local file to save the data until you are online, but that would have to be hand coded.

Thanks Ray
When I delve into the project and get close to the dilemma at hand I will explore the possibility of a file.
I'm sure you never thought about it because most will not serve the site in-house and the problem is moot without a connection. Glad to hear from you.... been about 10 years!
