There is an error in your SQL syntax. in orders_results.php

Hi Ray, Thanks for all your help. I think this is the last bug that I need to fix. I used the eCart wizard to create the orders tables and pages. Without having touched any of these pages, I'm getting the syntax error. I searched on this site for similar issues, but the rsobj file is from a thread {with debug true in ) was written in 2018 and is nothing like the current one, so I'm not sure what line to modify to get more details on the error.

Open your rsobj.php file and find the line that has ->Debug = false

change it to true and you should get a better error message.

Thank you, apparently it was looking for orders in a table that wasn't created by the wizard: Orders_2. However, the orders table that was created is sorely lacking in content from the existing orders. Not sure what to do, do I have to re run the entire ecart wizard and ordering system again? All the fields appear to be in place in the orders table, but it isn't populating it with all the information when I run a mock sale.

Instead of re-running the wizard you could have just updated the table name.

It looks like the data types are set wrong in the server behaviors.

Open up confirm.php and edit the "Store Cart Summary in Database" and "Store Cart Details in Database" Server behaviors. Change the data types to match the data. It looks like they are all set to numeric when most should be set to text.

Okay, I was able to update the data types, but now when running the cart, the confirm cart page throws and unexpected end of file error on the last line.
I suspected it might be the first line below that should be enclosed in php, but it then gives the error that unexpected T VAR
<script>
var ecart_json = "WA_eCart/eCart1_JSON.php";
</script>
<script src="WA_eCart/js/eC_Display.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

I haven't messed with this page, I only edited the confirm.php page.
