How can I remove the php file extentions from ecart?

Greetings WebAssist team!

I have a question related to the functionality of the checkout pages. I recently updated my servers .htaccess file to ignore all php file extensions for a cleaner look, for better SEO, and to hide the programming language underlying my websites. All went well with this project except when it comes to the checkout pages. For some reason, when you get to www.mywebsite/checkout, the confirm_cart.php file does not get loaded after one enters the customer address information. I "fixed" the issue by having all references to the checkout pages to include the php extension, as in www.mywebsite/checkout.php. Any suggestions as to how to get this to work will be greatly appreciated as usual. : )

Thank you,
Robert Crespo

I'm not sure why it didn't work. If you give me a url to see the issue then I might be able to spot what is wrong.

Hello Ray,

It will be hard to recreate this on the live server as I do not want to prevent anyone from completing a sale. Locally, I did get an error message at the top of the shopping cart on the checkout page, right below the NEXT button.

Warning: chdir(): No such file or directory (errno 2) in C:\wamp64\www\newreptilesncritters\webassist\framework\ajax_wrapper.php on line 22

Does this help narrow it down?

It implies that it can't find the file. I'd have to debug it live.

Ray, can we try this tomorrow? It's getting late here and I need to prepare for some downtime on my website.

Yes, I'd need ftp information to look into this further.

See private message.

Based on the error message on the checkout page, the issue seems like it is on the ajax_wrapper.php page on line 22.

I made a small change to ajax_wrapper.php in order to address this issue.
