Php Version problem

I have sites on a server that just shut them all down on me. To remedy the problem the server people set my php version to 5.6. Prior to that all my site were getting an error 503. I have the current data assit and security assist and all my connections are mysqli. Is this normal or do these extensions not work on php 7 and above?

If you have it updated to MySQLi then it would work with php7. You must have missed some code. I'd have to debug it on a site with the error to determine the cause.

it's all working now but I built these sites using the current version of data and security assist. It might be something they messed up but they have me set to php5.6 now. Eventually I'll reset it to 7.0 and see if the problem comes back.
Thanks
