Best Way to Do Orders without Payment required?

Hi Ray, I have a client I'm moving from Adobe Business Catalyst. They have a wholesale client list and password protected catalog but they do not do sales on the site. I was going to move them to Shopify until I found out they don't do payments. What they do want to do is to allow ordering of plumbing supplies to be emailed to the office.

what is the best way to proceed for this and any tutorial overviews you would recommend as a place to start?

You can do ordering without payment with eCart. You just insert the order to the database and send an email on checkout without payment. This is also supported with Powerstore.

Where in ecart is the setting for sending a copy of the order, or notification of the order to the store owner? The email in ecart checkout wizard seems to only send to the buyer.

Add the store owner as a BCC recipient.

i didn't see that as an option in the Email Tab. It is also just a bit confusing... the email to appears to be going to the customer, and the from appears to be from the store, but I don't see where it goes as BCC or if I should just add static email addresses instead.

You add it on the finished page in the Send Email server behavior on the confirm.php page.

The server behaviors have more options than the wizard.
