Fatal error: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is no longer supported in C:\xampp\htdocs\RjRwebz\webassist\mysqli\queryobj.php on line 414

What causes this error in queryobj.php? I occasionally get it when I do a fresh install of the Webassist extensions.

That is on older version of the queryobj.php file.

If you reinstall the extension then it will update that file the next time you apply or re-apply an insert, update, or delete server behavior and correct that issue.

Fatal error: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is no longer supported...

I removed, re-downloaded and re-installed the DataBridge v2.35 and MySQLi extensions but I am STILL getting this error. I am running Windows 10 as a Parallels VM which works perfectly and surprisingly fast on my Macbook Pro 2019 laptop (Catalina macOS v110.15.7).

I REALLY need to get this working ASAP! Please help.

You just have to re-apply an insert, update, or delete server behavior and then re-upload the file mentioned in the error: \webassist\mysqli\queryobj.php

Fatal error: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is no longer supported in C:\xampp\htdocs\Leathernecks\webassist\mysqli\rsobj.php on line 148

I have 28+ websites that I need to import into my Windows 10 virtual on my Macbook (macOS to Windows 10 via Parallels VM) but I'm having this error popup in all the sites that use WebAssist's DataBridge. I have re-installed, using Adobe's Extension Manager, the server DB v2.35 behaviors but am still getting this error. I've imported websites from my Macbook to other platforms before and have also experienced this error with previous versions of DataBridge.

Can you step-by-step me through how I can fix this? I need to get this to work!

Replace the rsobj.php file with the newest version.

You can re-generate the file with the latest version by opening and re-applying any recordset on any page. Then upload the updated file.

I was getting this error too - I had the following at the top of my PHP page:

ini_set('display_errors', '1');
ini_set('display_startup_errors', '1');
error_reporting(E_ALL);

So, I made sure that I've got the latest versions of MySQLi, DataBridge and eCart installed, but opening and reapplying the recordset hasn't fixed the issue.

What it has done, however, is remove the error message I was receiving. I now have a blank white page (attached). I also attach what I assume is the updated rsobj.php file.

Incidentally, I'm testing using localhost in Windows 10 Pro and DWCC21.1 Build 15413

Hope you can help.
Thank yo.

I'd need to debug this live. I don't see any issues with the pages and a blank page doesn't give me much to go on.

Sorry Ray.

I uploaded everything to my web server, to test it there, and the page loads:
http://www.nathonjones.co.uk/njadmin/index.php

Why would this only display a blank white page under localhost?

I removed the following line:

<?php require_once('../webassist/mysqli/authentication.php'); ?>

...and it works in localhost. So I'm guessing that I need to update something associated with the Login User behaviour, except I have some custom coding in this behaviour, to add additional security, so what do I need to update and how can I do that without disrupting my hand coded Login User behaviour?

Thank you.
NJ

EDIT: Removed the entire behaviour, added the standard behaviour, then replaced the behaviour code with my custom coded behaviour. Sorted!
Which file updated though? I'll need to update all occurences of this file on all sites that use it, right?
