DataAssist: Changing presets question

Related to my other thread but since of a more general nature, I started a new question.

Realizing that my database design needed changes, I removed a field, changed other fields from from null to not null, etc.
I had already created all the DA pages for 10 sets, so we're talking about 40 pages of work.

If I try to reuse these pre-sets they will seek a field that I have removed (user_ID). Is there a way to salvage the presets or do I need to start from scratch? Any shortcut to remove the field that I deleted?

Thanks as always.

I think it should detect and automatically remove columns that are no longer in the database.

Success as far as updating pre-sets and seeing changed database tables! A warning comes up to let me know a field was removed, but then, it keeps on keeping on.

To others: pre-sets are your best friend with DA pages. Save all and often. I have a memory leak on my very very old mac pro, so I have to save each page in DA, and reset the pre-set page. I would guess others with a more up-to-date set-up wouldn't have to be so careful. But that caution has paid off in the long run. It has saved me about 20 hours on current project.
