Issue with Dynamic Dropdowns with Data Bridge 2.0 tutorial by jlowrey

I have followed the tutorial posted above and my child list is not populating from the main page, I have checked this over multiple times and it is still not working. Any help is appreciated as usual :-).

It looks like you haven't completed the final step yet. Follow the instructions in the section:

Integrate Child Page and Add Ajax Functionality

It looks like you did the first half now, but are still missing steps.

You also have a missing quote issue with your html. You have:
id="childSelect name="childSelect"

it should be:
id="childSelect" name="childSelect"

Then you need to do the final step labeled: Step 2: Add Ajax Functionality

That one would not have worked with the missing quote.

One more time, still not working, seems like an issue with the extension.

I have repeated this tutorial for the 4th time, I even uploaded the styles etc. I have done everything as asked and checked the page after every step. The towns display fine, the child page seems to load but once again the teams are not displayed. The tutorial says to add the childSelect div after the form tag, I have tried it before the form tag and after to no avail. There seems to be something messed up as my steps have been spot on. Please help, this shouldn't be this hard. I have included the most recent pages and the link below.

These pages look complete. I think the issue may just be that you are using the wrong column in the parent select list.

In the teams table in the database, what do you have in the teamTown field? Is it the actual town name, or the TownID from the towns table?

If it is the TownID, then the value of the list should be set to the townID column on line 43 of the main page.

At this point the pages look correct. So I'd need ftp access in order to debug to see why it isn't working properly. It might be the data in the database that is wrong, or a column reference, or something else that I could only spot on a live page.

All of the pieces are in place and the steps appear to be completed properly in this latest sample.

That password doesn't seem to be correct. I get to the password verification and it says the credentials are wrong, so I can't access through ftp.
