Best way to add USPS via Endicia

My client has asked that we work with to add USPS as shipping options to our checkout. Currently we pull UPS options only via their API. According to Endicia we have all these options. Just looking for some basic direction as to what option I should be pursuing to work with eCart so I don't run to far down the wrong rabbit trail. I'm not familiar with ODBC.

USPS has an API that can be integrated with eCart->Shipping->US Postal Service server behavior. It is applied the same way UPS is and can be integrated as a second shipping option or replace your existing UPS integration.
