message length

Hello,

I can see from the "Design Content" field that PowerMessenger is set to 'Type: text'','Lenght: 0'.

I had a long message to create, and have discovered that PowerMessenger has arbitrarily cut off a rather long message I had wanted to send out. I had got used to its habit of losing all my edits with the occasional timeout, but this took me by surprise.

Is there any immediate way around this length limit? And ... could you indicate how many characters the current limitation is?

Thank you

With every good wish.

Also ...

Should I try using the 'Use a File for Design' option? Or does it also imose the same kind of length limit?

Thank you,

Would it be safe to switch 'type' to either of the 'mediumtext' or 'longtext' options?

Thank you,

You should be able to change it to longtext without any issues and that should allow you to have very long content.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

Hi,

I did try that earlier in the day, and it did not seem to work.
I eventually sent my mailing out as separate Part I and Part II mailings.

I will try the 'longtext' option again probably tomorrow. It is more than likely that I made some error.

Thank you,
