Warning: Wrong parameter count for mysqli_stmt::bind_param() in /Library/WebServer/Documents/HLAA/webassist/mysqli/queryobj.php on line 493

I am getting this error on my new Macbook Pro, macOS 10.15.7, with a new version of Dreamweaver CC 2019 installed. I just reinstalled DataBridge v2.35 but that didn't help. This is happening only on my localhost... the form works perfectly on my remote server.

This happens too often and I need to know why is this happening again? We can screen share if you think necessary.

I'd need a copy of the page to see what is going on. Not the page in the error, but the page you are browsing.

re: Warning...

Here are two copies of the admin-portal.php page. One is from my new Macbook's localhost which issues the warning and doesn't work. The other is from my iMac's localhost which works fine as it does on my public server (all three php pages are identical and all use the same incl_latebreaking.php file as an iframe). I believe there is something amiss with the webassist file(s) on my Macbook.

Any ideas?

The issue has to be coming from the latebreaking.php file but it looks fine... so the queryobj.php file is the most likely culprit.

What is the version listed at the top of that file? Have you tried reinstalling databridge and reapplying? That would update the queryobj.php file to the latest version and might fix this issue.

Compare the queryobj.php version on your macbook vs the live and imac. I'm guessing it has an older version of that file that is causing the issue.

re: Warning

Both copies of the queryobj.php files are version 2.22.

I copied the queryobj.php and the latebreaking.php files from my iMac to my Macbook and now the latebreaking.php file works perfectly on my Macbook. When I compare the error lines (493) on both the 'good' and 'bad' files, I can see no difference. Please see the attached screen capture and both the good & bad queryobj.php files. Any ideas?

I don't see any difference between those files. I wouldn't worry about it too much since it is working now. If it happens again then I can do screen sharing to debug and find the problem. Finding a fixed problem is much more difficult.
