Configuring IIS for VISTA

Hello,

I am working my way through the section Configuring IIS for VISTA. I go ahead and enter the information:

-Request Path: *.php
-Executable: C:\php\php5isapi.dll
-Name: PHP

Well..... When I enter the Executable field and press enter, it tells me that, that specific file does not exist. I've been search and searching but can't seem to find this .dll file and have no idea how to work around this or move forward. Any information would deff. help!

I downloaded: # PHP 5.3.0 (tar.bz2) [9,861Kb] - 30 June 2009
md5: 846760cd655c98dfd86d6d97c3d964b0

And I am using Vista

first, use 5.2.11 instead of 5.3. 5.3 will only install as a CGI module, it does not include the ISAPI extesnion:
PHP 5.2.11 zip package [10,270Kb] - 17 September 2009
md5: adac50ae1449b76f10ff1865bb4f94f1

For the error you are getting:
Go to Control Panel -> Programs and features.

Click the link for Turn Windows Features On or Off.

Expand Internet Information Services

Expand World Wide Web Services

Expand Application Development Features.

make sure all options are checked, especially ISAPI Extensions and ISAPI Filters.
