Which images are you referring to?

Try going to Insert->WebAssist->eCart->eCart Object and add a new eCart Object. Make sure that this is added to the drop down in the eCart Object floater. Also make sure that there is a WA_eCart folder is added to your current project. Make sure that the pages you are attempting to add the eCart behaviors to are added to the current project.

When you create a cart using the wizard, the images directory will be created for you within the WA_eCart directory. You can use that directory if you want to store your images there.

That is just a placeholder for Dreamweaver, so when the page is viewed in a browser it will not look like that.

What issues are you running into when you're setting up xampp?

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few

Try changing the connection to use localhost:8888 instead of phpmyadmin/. Xampp defaults to using port 8888. Also make sure that your site files are uploaded to the root of your server, or your pages will not be found.
