PowerCMS Upgrade to MySQLi

Is there a procedure for upgrading a PowerCMS built with Design Extender to MySQLi?

You can download the beta and replace the files:

I tried to reinstall from scratch using latest Design Extender v1.2.2 and it won't take my serial number. It should work right?

Yes, that appears to be a valid serial number. If you continue to have issues, give me a call and I can do screen sharing to help you get past that step.

I replaced the files but am receiving an error at http://www.harbinbuilder.com/test.php. Any ideas?

I'd need FTP access to debug this. It may be that you had an older version of the database that needs to be updated, or something else may not have been overwritten properly.

It looks like you may have been using an older version of the .zip files. Please re-download the files:

I had to update your connections file, your WA_CMS/WA_CMS.php file, and I had to run the script at install_cms/upgrade.php to get it to work.

Thanks! It works now at http://www.harbinbuilder.com/test.php

But I'm still doing something wrong because I'm getting errors at http://www.campanawaltz.com/index1.php

I tried to duplicate your steps. Any ideas?

It looks like you didn't update the file: Templates/admin.dwt.php

It was a different version than what you had uploaded. I updated it to the version from the zip and that seems to have fixed the problem.
