File Upload error

I have a file upload that normally works fine however attempt was made to upload 1.6mb jpeg ( set to convert to png compression 5) got an error and didn't work. I took a look at error log and got this [19-Jun-2020 02:58:06 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 16384 bytes) in /home/raceprotim/public_html/webassist/file_manipulation/helperphp.php on line 40 any suggestions?
Thank you!

Ray BorduinWebAssist

You need to increase the memory to process files that large. You can do that in the php.ini file, or sometimes you can do it on the top of the page with:

php:
<?php

ini_set
("memory_limit""256M");
?>

You can read more about the memory_limit setting here: https://haydenjames.io/understanding-php-memory_limit/

Thanks Ray
To include that line on the top of the page is that the page that the upload is on or the helperphp.php page.?
Thanks!

On top of the page that the upload is on should work.
