_promaps_geocache.xml not working

Should this extension still work or have Google's changes killed it off?
My _promaps_geocache.xml files on the couple of sites I've used it on have stopped automatically updating with new records from a database recordset and the file doesn't update or recreate itself if I empty or delete it and the map doesn't load at all with an empty or non existent _promaps_geocache.xml file both with and without an API key.

If you send me a url and FTP access then I'll debug this and see why it isn't working and get it figured out for you.

API keys are now necessary, and they have updated their api permissions on the google api manager. It looks like your api preferences aren't configured properly on google's site to allow geocoding. You would need to log into google and make sure maps and geocoding services are enabled for the api key you are using.

If you send me your google login information then I could try to do that for you.

I'll have to have a word with the site owner and see what he's managed to set up for it or get his log in details and get back to you.
I've not used the map extension on any of my own sites so never been an issue til now!

He has an api key set, so you should be able to go in where that api key is configured on Google's site and update the api permissions.
