Can validation be used to hide a button?

I have an insert form built using DA WA wizard.

How can I use the server validation behaviour to hide a button on the form until the form has been inserted, when it shows?

I don't really understand. Once a form is submitted then you leave the page. How or why would you want a button displayed after you leave the page?
