No database access since DW update

Hi Ray

Since the latest Dreamweaver update a couple of days ago, I can't connect locally to my database - I get the following error:

Your PHP server doesn't have the MySQL module loaded or you can't use the mysql_(p)connect functions

I'm still able to access the same pages OK using DW 2016 (and recent XAMPP from June 5th 2019) andI'm using MySQL_i

Is there a setting on the configuration I need to change?

Many thanks

Chris

Try reinstalling DataBridge. It could have overwritten your database connection files with the Adobe version that doesn't support mysqli.

Hi Ray

Thanks - I've done that, but it hasn't changed, other than started a whole new load of errors, which are not WA related! Xampp Mysql not starting now - I think it might be a Windows update issue, as others are having the same issue with xampp.

Cheers

Chris

I've updated to the latest version of DW and have no issues, so maybe Xampp is your issue.
