Odd encoding issue

Odd encoding issue

I have a website built from a template where I've implemented a custom CMS built with dataassist.

I'm having an odd issue with URL encoding. I have a field to store a youtube URL.

On the page, if I simply insert <?php echo($rsHomes->getColumnVal("videoembed")); ?> it displays the URL properly. However, if I insert the exact same code in the <div class="play-button" data-src="<?php echo($rsHomes->getColumnVal("videoembed")); ?>"><i class="hc-play"></i></div> as the template lays out, it returns https:&#x2F;&#x2F;youtu.be&#x2F;QKzHJ4j6x-8 in the code (replaces slashes).

BTW I tried swapping the inner double quotes for single quotes, but no dice. How do I get it to return the proper code with slashes?

Here's the page, if it helps: https://schrockhomes.com/homes-for-sale/detail.php?id=37

Try using:
<?php echo($rsHomes->getColumnVal("videoembed",false)); ?>

The code has built-in cross-site scripting protection that encodes special characters, but adding the false at the end will disable that.
