Possible DataAssist Bug regarding Search Page

Possible DataAssist Bug regarding Search Page

Hi,

I rebuilt my configuration from you file.

I then tried to make a collective set of DataAssist pages.
I got a failure due to sme script.

Then I had the idea to build the pages separately.
So I tackled them in alpha order. Search of course said it could not build.

Update would build, so I made a preset that exclused search, i.e. including details.php, insert.php, results.php and update.php.
This built successfully.

I then went and selected that no_search preset, and selected search to build.
This time everything built.

I saved that full preset. And when I tried loading with that, it failed.
So as long as I do not build search with the others, I am fine.

As soon as I add search to the set, it fails.

Thanks again SO MUCH for your help.

Hello,

I continued on to the tutorials with the next section, The create pages wizard will create a products_details page separately, but with no add-to-cart button. It will not, however, create the product_results.php page either separately, or together with the details page.

I did not bother with the png on this occasion.

I will look to create a separate results page.

Thank you very much,

Hi Ray,

I proceeded as best I could up to the point where it was necessary to make a 'cart.php' page. I carefully answered "No" to all questions about saving associated files. But as soon as I uploaded t examine in a browser, I got a "500" error.

Not only that, but no other files will now work, including the ones you left for me.

Thank you,

The easiest solution is to create a $0.01 product and just go through and make the purchase.

The other option is to go sign up for a sandbox account and then get special sandbox credentials and update your code to use sandbox and then test with that. Then change it back to live after. However you would probably still want to create a $0.01 product to test that you switched back to live mode properly and that everything still works properly.

I'd suggest just skipping the sandbox step. You can do 100 test transactions at $0.01 each and it will only cost a dollar and the time you would take setting up a sandbox account and switching over credentials is worth more than that.
