Uninstalling: Removing Files

I am finally upgrading to DataBridge 2, and just at the stage of DW (2020) uninstalling the old DB files. Its been doing that for about half an hour now. Just wondering how long to leave it before giving up? Its not really a problem if it takes ages, but it would be handy to know at what point to consider it may have gotten stuck! Thanks.

It must have gotten stuck. It really shouldn't take very long.

If you manually delete your user's configuration folder (or rename it) then it will effectively uninstall all of your extensions and you can have a fresh start.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

Thanks Ray. I force quit DW, and seemed fine when it reopened. Updating everything feels a bit daunting, so will probably need a bit of hand holding til I get my bearings.
