Accessing PowerCMS

I am new to PowerCMS and am just trying to learn how to use it. In the instructions for displaying content on site pages, it states: 'From the PowerCMS navigation, choose Insert New Content.' The instructions don't say how to get to PowerCMS.

In the web address bar, I typed in 'the path to my site/CMS100/admin/' . I got the log in page and then PowerCMS with none of my pages listed.

Did I not access PowerCMS properly? Why don't any of my pages show up? How does PowerCMS access the pages?

you have to enter your pages manually, it will not automatically populate a list of your page. when you create new content, you enter a name for the page, the name of the new content region and enter the content to go in that region.

entering pages manually for PowerCMS

How do I enter pages manually? When I click on any of the tabs on PowerCMS, I get a a 404 file not found error.

make sure the WA_Globals are properly set. it sounds like you have the CMS file in a sub directory of your domain named "/CMS100/". Check that the $WAGLOBAL_Root_URL looks like:

$WAGLOBAL_Root_URL = "http://www.mydomain.com/CMS100/"

and the $WAGLOBAL_remoteRoot is set to:
$WAGLOBAL_remoteRoot = "/CMS100/";

Thanks. When I corrected the paths, the problems were solved!
