Successful login won't redirect to calling page

Successful login won't redirect to calling page

I'm using Security Assist - Manage Site Access. A successful login doesn't redirect to the page that called login page. I've checked the Session variables which are correct for the entered user but it just reloads the login page.

It could be a space or blank line in the php code above the redirect. If you attach the page you are working on I can take a look and see if I can spot the issue.

It could be an issue on the other page. Can you browse to it after logging in without issue? I may need to debug this one live. I don't see any problems with the page.

Could you give me FTP access and a url with username and password and steps to reproduce? I could go in and see what is wrong and tell you what needs to be fixed at that point.

Login returns to itself

Sorry about the delayed reply. I've put the login and index page on a test site. Details are below.

The issue is on the index page not the login page. It could be that session variables aren't being saved properly (a server issue) or the restrict access server behavior may be applied incorrectly on the index page. I couldn't get in with the FTP information supplied, so I couldn't confirm which is the source.

If you attach the index page I could see if I can spot a problem there. Also please check the FTP information for typos since that would be the most efficient route to allow me to test directly.

I was downloading your files to look at them but I think I got locked out. Can you attach a copy of the file:
webassist/security_assist/helpergroupsrulesphp.php

I need to look at that one to see if i can spot the issue.

It looks like your login page saves the session variable with a name: GroupID

But your Administrator rule checks the session variable with the name: UserGroup

That's why it never passes. You would have to change one or the other so they are in sync.
