Updating all passwords to Hash encrypted:

Sorry to bother you on this. I had below script (to change all the passwords on the table to hashed encrypted) worked on testing about 5 months ago, but now that I go implement it, I'm not sure why it won't. I get the msg:

Fatal error: Call to a member function GetArray() on null in (my path) on line 21

Line 21 is: $rows = $rs->GetArray();

<?php
$sql = new WA_MySQLi_RS("sql",$mycx,0);
$sql->setQuery("SELECT webuser_id, w_password FROM test_table");
$rs = $sql->execute();
$rows = $rs->GetArray();
foreach ($rows as $row) {
$sql = 'UPDATE test_table SET w_password = ? WHERE id = ?';
$mycx->execute($sql,
[password_hash(
$row['w_password'], PASSWORD_DEFAULT),
$row['webuser_id'],
]);
}
echo "Passwords updated\n";
?>

Or is there code that I can generate from webassist tools to get this done?

Thanks for your help.

I think this line:
$rows = $rs->GetArray();

should be:
$rows = $rs->Results;

didn't work:

I've tried several ways but none actually executes. I just keep getting warnings and fatal errors. My last one is:

<?php
$Recordset1 = "SELECT webuser_id, w_password FROM web_user_test2_copy";
$Result = mysqli_query($convacc_cx, $Recordset1);
//$Result = $convacc_cx->query($Recordset1); // this is the object oriented way of the above
$Rows = $Result->fetch_all();

foreach ($Rows as $row) {
$Recordset1 = 'UPDATE web_user_test2_copy SET w_password = ? WHERE webuser_id = ?';
$convacc_cx->query($Recordset1, [
password_hash($row['w_password'], PASSWORD_DEFAULT),
$row['webuser_id'],
]);
}
echo "Passwords updated\n";
?>

I know this one is causing the problem but don't know how to write it:

$Rows = $Result->fetch_all();

I like the first one better. What was the error you got? If you send me a url to see the issue and FTP access then I'll give it a try.

Ironically, I ran script 5 months ago and it worked. I still have test db with hashed passwords from then. Maybe it was a slightly different script and I lost it.

This is what I get on that script:

Fatal error: Call to a member function GetArray() on null in /home/jvdydf5kad9w/public_html/tempusr/passwordhash.php on line 22

Below is info to get in. There's only one file there:

I can't seem to browse to the page for testing.

What error do you get when you change that line to:
$rows = $rs->Results;

It's just a blank html page with that function in the body.

I see. I think this:
$rs = $sql->execute();
$rows = $rs->Results;

should be:
$sql->execute();
$rows = $sql->Results;

It stopped at:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method mysqli::execute() in /home/jvdydf5kad9w/public_html/tempusr/passwordhash.php on line 25

Line 25 is $convacc_cx->execute($sql,

I changed that to $convacc_cx->query($sql,

then I get:

Warning: mysqli::query() expects parameter 2 to be long, array given in /home/jvdydf5kad9w/public_html/tempusr/passwordhash.php on line 29

Warning: mysqli::query() expects parameter 2 to be long, array given in /home/jvdydf5kad9w/public_html/tempusr/passwordhash.php on line 29

Line 29 is just the ]);

??

That's what I was getting earlier today (and yesterday)
