Hi guys, couple questions 1) creating product administration, catalogs, etc Dataassist pages longer able see preview my pages look like Now its just greyed out 2) using Dataassist keep popup says some files preset were found your table continue they ignore

1). Trying to see a preview, Don't know what to try.

2). Im trying to build a product catalog.

FYI my laptop crashed (not able to retrieve any files at all) and I've moved to a desktop with a way bigger monitor. Since I moved over I haven't been able to see previews in Dataassist.

The errors imply that it isn't connecting to your Database properly, or that you have a products table in your database already with different column names than the preset.

Are you able to view the columns in your database when creating a recordset? I'd start by making sure your connection works and that you are able to see your database columns in the recordset dialog.

The preview may just be a symptom of the first issue. I'd get that fixed first and see if that fixes the preview.

Good News

Hi Ray sorry for the late response, but thank you for the tip, I erased everything and started from scratch. It was my database connection and now I'm able to see my previews again.

What Database tables do I need to install to build a dynamic store using ecart??

So far Iv'e been trying to use the eCommerce database. But that one doesn't seem to have a weight table. Cause when I try to bind the values when adding a shopping cart button, it isn't there.

Thanks a bunch for all your help.

Really you create the tables to match your business needs. There are no real requirements. You don't need a database at all if you don't want one. If there are missing columns for what you need, then add them.

Hi Ray, I updated to Databridge 2 and I seem to be having issues. I'm not sure what it is.

For some reason the product details has an error in it. As it is riddled with errors.

It has been like this everytime i create pages in Dataassist.

I have tried checking my Database Connections and everything looks good.

Have you seen this before?

Thanks, Bill
