Please bear with me.. but is there a relatively quick/simple way to update a bunch of custom admin pages from mysql to mysqli?
I only ask this in case there is some way that I don't know about that might simplify the whole thing.
I have about 30 pages for inserting new records in various tables and another 30 for modifying existing records. Plus the authentication pages. All done a while back using mysql. Because this has been less important than other work on the site, it's been pushed back, but now I want to get it updated and working well with new versions of PHP.
Do I have to painstakingly go through each page, each recordset, each insert and update query, etc.... of 60 pages (as well as the display of the data in the forms on the admin pages)? Or is there a tool out there (maybe even created by webassist) that could do this for me.. at least for the most part?
Yes, I'm lazy.. only cause I've got tons of other things to do and this is a hassle I would rather take care of as quickly as possible.
So.. any ideas.. besides.. "sorry, buddy, you shouldn't have left it this long..." ? :)
Thank you!
