subfolder path not used when browsing server

Hi Ray

In addition to the subfolder path being ignored, when I try to reconfigure things - or just check the site settings, my helpergroupsrulesphp.php file is overwritten with blank entries. I have a backup of the file, so replacement is easy, though inconvenient.

Getting the correct path is the important thing.

Thanks

Chris

Can I get FTP access and a URL to reproduce the issue? Can I also get steps to reproduce. I'd like to see exactly what you are seeing so I can figure out where it is going wrong.

I can't seem to get that FTP to work. What servername, username and password should I be using? What port or FTP type? There might be a typo in the information you gave me, or I might be doing something wrong.

It appears that I have FTP access now, but I can't get to the login page with the URL you provided or the page with the file upload.

For some reason I can't access the site. I'll need to be able to browse it to debug this. I think it might just need an updated version of the kcfinder files. That is where I would start, but I can't really do much if I can't test my changes. Maybe we need to set up a screen sharing session. Your page isn't accessible for me... perhaps that is an issue that can be resolved first if that is a concern for you.

Hi Ray

I wonder if it's an issue with your ISP caching; I moved the domain to a different server prior to setting up the test site. Maybe it's not picked it up yet.

I did delete the kcfinder folder and started again from scratch - and I'm using the latest version of DataAssist. Happy to do a screen share (see pm)

Thanks

Chris

We were able to get this resolved in a screen sharing session.
