DataAssist

I'm try to randomly generate a number between a specified range. I calling the getInterRange() function within a javascript, see attachment. When I specified a default number to the min and max variable (2000000 - 2999999), it works fine and generate a random number between 2000000 and 2999999.

But I want to actually get the values (min and max) from the database. I have a downdown with an ID "cardRequested" pulling data from the database. I'm pulling additional values from the database by specifying minGenerated and maxGenerated separated by commas to ID "cardRequested". See below.

When I call changeInterNo() function and try to pass the variables minGenerated and maxGenerated to the getInterRange() function from the recordset, the number doesn't get generate properly and I just cannot figure out what's happening.

Any assistance provided will be appreciated.

<option value="<?php echo $row_WADADynListdebitcard['dcardNo']?>,<?php echo $row_WADADynListdebitcard['minGenerated']?>,<?php echo $row_WADADynListdebitcard['maxGenerated']?>,<?php echo $row_WADADynListdebitcard['dcardDesc']?>"><?php echo $row_WADADynListdebitcard['dcardDesc']?></option>

I'm afraid I can't debug your custom javascript effectively through this forum. You would have to sign up for a premier support ticket and we could do screen sharing. Then you could describe exactly what you are trying to do and we could reproduce the issue in context on your site and debug in order to get it resolved.
