Connect Error: Access denied user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

John

Connect Error: Access denied user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I have been trying to upgrade and existing website using the old Recordset Server Behaviors. I have a similar login page using a different database on a different website. That authentication works on both my localhost on my Windows CPU and the GoDaddy server. But the attachment does not work on either. I have converted a couple of other pages to the WebAssist system. They will work once and then crashed with the same error message.

I have even changed my MySQL password and no suggest. I can not find a solution as to why one works but the other does not using WebAssist, even thought it still works using the old database system.

I'll need FTP access and a url to reproduce in order to debug this issue. It could be a problem with your site definition as well. The best way for me to reproduce and debug this issue would be for you to export your site definition and attach it to a reply to this post. Just mark it as private and I'll be the only one that can download it and I'll use that to reproduce the issue and let you know what I find.
