Updating to Mysqli connections
I am trying to update my old mysql_pconnect files to mysqli with Design Extender 2 after my web host updated PHP to 5.6 and my old PCMS installations failed to connect. However, after downgrading the PHP version to 5.4 and copying the correct details into the new Dynamic mysqli connection file I get a blank web page (the host doesn't echo errors). On my testing server I get the following:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_select_db() in C:\xampp\htdocs\GringoltsTestingServer\WA_Globals\WA_Globals.php:38 Stack trace: #0 C:\xampp\htdocs\GringoltsTestingServer\WA_CMS\WA_CMS.php(4): require_once() #1 C:\xampp\htdocs\GringoltsTestingServer\index.php(5): require_once('C:\\xampp\\htdocs...') #2 {main} thrown in C:\xampp\htdocs\GringoltsTestingServer\WA_Globals\WA_Globals.php on line 38.
Should the new connection file (attached) work straight away or are there other changes I need to make?
