Try reinstalling the extension and then restarting Dreamweaver.

Unable to un-install software because dialog box for un-install got stuck forever.

Just re-install... it will install over any old files. Uninstall is only necessary to permanently remove. Most likely this is the same issue preventing installation though. My guess is that the install failed initially, and may fail again. I may have to walk you through a manual install over the phone. Please post a US phone number or Skype contact information and I can call to coordinate a time for screen sharing.
