update page not updating

Hey Ray

The attached product_updates page is not updating on submit - redirects back to itself and hasnt updated the DB.

Getting the following error

"Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/sites/7a/2/287c6f7d9b/public_html/Connections/PowerCMSConnection.php:38) in /home/sites/7a/2/287c6f7d9b/public_html/webassist/form_validations/wavt_scripts_php.php on line 86"

Have been looking for any extra spaces etc that shouldnt be there but cannot see any?

The extra spaces are in the file referenced in the error:

PowerCMSConnection.php line 38

It could be an error or blank line at that location.

I just cant find it in the connection file - have attached it as well as the wavt_scripts_php.php file

Also other update pages using the same connection file are updating ok

The error on that line implies that the connection isn't working properly. Can I get a url and ftp access to debug. Just give me precise steps to reproduce and I should be able to figure it out for you.

thanks for taking a look...have just tried other update pages and they all work fine - just the product_update which seems to be doing this.

This is because you have error reporting turned on and the page is showing a Deprecated error letting you know you are using MySQL and not MySQLi.

The solution is to turn off errors on that page. It looks like it is in lines 1-4 on the product_update.php page.

I left the error reporting in to highlight the error messages.....if you remove the error reporting (as I have done now) it still neither updates the database nor redirects to the results page......

I see the error:
Unknown column 'ProductKeywords' in 'field list'

thanks Ray have managed to fix it now

On that same page, there is a plugin on line 806 (which is referenced from admin_cms/plugins/colour_options.php) which, when a colour option is selected from the drop down then shows the relevant associated colour options.

When selected, those colour options should update the join table (colours_available) with columns AvailableID, AvailableColourID and AvailableProductID

Am not sure what update I need to do to get this working?

Thanks

I added code to the update page that deletes the old selected colors and then inserts the new ones. You will see it on lines 268-293
