adding a search filter drop down

On the attached page, am trying to work out how to add a dropdown search filter which will then sort based on the StaffType value (which could be 0, 1 or 2)

Have got the drop down (starting at line 102), but unsure how to add the search aspect to the existing

This is an update page, and line 102 is in the middle of the update code. I'm not sure if you attached the wrong page or have the wrong line number. I'm a bit confused about what I should be looking at.

Your select list isn't in a <form>... So first thing you would have to do is add it to the existing form or create a new one.

Are you trying to maintain other searches as well? What happens if someone already has a search in place?

You would probably want to save the value in the session, set the selection in the list based on the session and then filter with the session value to work with your existing search effectively.

Thanks, I *think* I am almost there....its not quite working and think its to do with my drop down. Also, I cant clear the search for some reason
