Update admin page is deleting database records

Update admin page is deleting database records

My update page has four file uploads (testimonial, image, TDS and SDS). Their file names are also added to a product database (prod).

When I upload only one file (doesn't matter which one), the file names in the database are deleted for all those file uploads that aren't used. The new files still exist on the server.

I thought it was because the File Upload Server Behaviors were set to overwrite, but can't get any of the other options to work either.

Update your server behaviors for the file upload. Where it says "default file" choose the recordset and column where the current value is. When no file is uploaded, it uses the Default file value. If you set it to the existing value, then it will persist when no new file is uploaded.

With the correction, the SDS and TDS file uploads are good when a new image file is uploaded. However, when either a TDS or SDS are uploaded, the image file name is still deleted.

Your update server behavior for the image is set to:

$WA_DFP_UploadStatus["WA_UploadResult1"]["WA_UploadResult1_1"]["serverSimpleFileName"]

it should be:

$WA_DFP_UploadStatus["WA_UploadResult1"]["WA_UploadResult1_1"]["serverFileName"]
