Jamie

testimonial carousel

Hi Ray

Am trying to set up a testimonial carousel on this page https://clients.motley.site/pmhr/template.html and cannot get the text to format to fit inside each testimonial element. As you will see, it overflows all on one line http://prntscr.com/om3lnu

Not sure what can be done to rectify this?

Cheers

Jamie

Your page has:

<script type="text/Javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.2/jquery.min.js"></script>

but it is loaded through https:// so the jquery script can't load. You would have to use:

<script type="text/Javascript" src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.2/jquery.min.js"></script>

thanks Ray but the carousel itself is working fine, its just trying to format the text within each <li> panel so that its contained within each <li> element rather than stying on one long line and overflowing left to right

On line 16 of your testimonialslider.css file it has:
white-space: nowrap;

That is causing your text not to wrap inside your slider.

thanks for the steer.

it wasnt that particular line as removing/changing that caused the <li>'s to stack on top of each other rather than side by side.

It did help me to figure the solution and added white-space: pre-line; to the <li> element itself - would not have worked that out without your help so many thanks
