I am getting an invalid email/please complete field when I have an email entered on my registration page.
I have attached the page and FTP info. This is an old site and it was working, I am not sure when it quit.

What email address are you using? I entered mine and it seems to take it.
My email however my email (in pm) is already associated with a registered user so maybe we are requiring unique?
Also shortly after I published this page (which I believe we were using in the past and I took it down for a while so that new users could not register) we started having server issues. This is what was reported:
, I noticed that the server is getting out of RAM memory due to MySQL connections.
I saw some big queries that could be stuck in the process. I attached the file slow-queries.log with the slowest queries.
Typically this behavior has one of two causes:
- A query acquired a lock and never releases it
- You're running an unindexed query (especially where JOINs are involved)
As we saw in the slow-queries.log file, we have slowest select's and that's locking the MySQL connections.
The query 1 have "Time: 24647" that's around 7 hours. Then the queries get the state "Waiting for table level lock"
I do not see any joins on this page however I did notice an extra body tag and deleted that and attached both copies. I have also attached a couple update pages that DO have join statements on them.
For now I am replacing the files in question with temporary pages to see if they notice a difference on the server load.
I have not been paying much attention to this site and someone requested to be listed in the directory so I put the new member page back out there and now all of these issues - ? Thank you!
It is probably a really inefficient query on a page that is hanging it up. The way to debug this is to go to PHPMyAdmin and run the query "SHOW PROCESSLIST".
https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/show-processlist.html
That will show you the query or queries that are hung up and then you can know what query you need to optimize. Sometimes you can just add indexes or re-write the queries on the page to make them run more quickly to solve the problem.
