How to pass values from Form to db

How to pass values from Form to db

I'm getting blank fields in db table for form values left as value="". I thought it would take the input value (of whatever the client types in). But if I put in a value in the code such as: value="test", then it is put in the table.

I have $InsertQuery->bindColumn("Machine", "s", "".((isset($_POST["Machinefbr"]))?$_POST["Machinefbr"]:"") ."", "WA_DEFAULT");

I'm only testing but not sure how to get the value to get into the table.

(Sorry to bother you on this one. I thought I knew how to do this.)

It seems like it would work to me.... but I'm not sure I really understand the description of your problem. Maybe give me a call and we can talk about it and do screen sharing to debug.

Have to run out, but just found out it was because it is an extremely long form. If I move the position of that one form within the many, to the top, then it populates. Also, i'm playing around with php.ini.

That makes sense... You probably have to increase your maximum form elements and upload size settings in your php.ini.
