Jamie

kc finder image path

Having a couple of problems with KC Finder.

When adding an image from it into the html editor, its using the path /home/sites/6b/5/527344ae0c/public_html/clients/domain/files/dorset.jpg rather than /domain/files/dorset.jpg

and if I change the config file to set a maximum image width of 1200 (leaving the height to 0, it uploads the image and makes it into a 1200 x 1200 image

Uploading to the latest version of KCFinder seems to have fixed this issue.

I've found that since we did this, am not able to upload to the sub folder 'files' and it seems to be that is because the root folder is called 'files' as well.

I tried changing the root folder to 'uploads' in the kcfinder config..pho file but it seems that its not as easy as that as, although it works and can upload files etc, I get the following errors:

Notice: Undefined index: site_root in /home/sites/6b/5/527344ae0c/public_html/clients/college/webassist/framework/library.php on line 31

Notice: Undefined index: virtualdir in /home/sites/6b/5/527344ae0c/public_html/clients/college/webassist/framework/library.php on line 65

Apart from reverting the foldername to 'files' and just changing the sub folder name to something other than 'files' what would I need to do to get round the above?

Cheers

Update the framework/library.php file to the latest version and I think that will fix the issue.

Just add a Framework builder plugin to a blank page and it should update the file and then you can upload it.

It looks like there is a bug where the sub-folder can't be named the same thing as the root folder. This one might take me a while to debug and fix. I'm going to have to dig deep into the code. It might be easier to just avoid that naming convention for now. I'll log it as a bug I can look into when I have more time to dig around.

Hey Ray

Not a problem and dont have an issue with the 'workaround'. Just fyi, it only seems to be on this particular installation as others have that folder structure (files/files/) and it works fine ....
