Powerstore 2 File-Folder permissions

Powerstore 2 File-Folder permissions

I have uploaded the standard store files and folders to my website using DW. While logged in to the admin section most of the menu links don't work. The only one that does work is the index link on the store logo.

I am assuming the permissions on the files and folders are not set correctly but have no idea what they need to be set to. I know I could set everything 777 but that seems like asking for trouble.

Can anyone advise what the different files and folders require for permissions? I would like to set them with what they need without opening my store up to unnecessary access.

It seems like this may be a problem with the settings you have specified for your WA_Globals.php file. Check to make sure the $WAGLOBAL_Root_URL , $WAGLOBAL_localRoot, and $WAGLOBAL_remoteRoot variables are set correctly to match with the file structure you have setup on your server.

That was it, thanks Jimmy. I had the subfolder mispelled.

I do have 2 other questions if you can help.

The dropdown box for adding options to products is hard coded to a specific size it appears. Can you point me to the code that determines that size so I can adjust it? When I add an option it is only displaying about 16 chars, The text I am entering is around 22 and the last 2 are the only ones that are different on each option. So when I drop it down you can't see enough to know which option to pick.

The 2nd question: When adding an option to a product is there a way to have the product price increment for the option being added rather than having to set a new total price? I ask because my product has several options that can be added . Incrementing would be far easier to manage price fluctuations rather than changing several options each time I have a price change.

Thanks

Would it be easier to make the description of the options contain the text that's the same? The change would be made on the Product_Detail.php page though.

Unfortunately, there is no way to cause the price to increment, you will have to change each option manually when you want to change the price. I'm sorry for this inconvenience.
