New Rules for PHP pages and Session Variables

New Rules for PHP pages and Session Variables

Security Assist has been working for my site, using ASP pages, for more than a year.

Recently I acquired Digital File Pro 2 which requires a PHP page.

When I try to use Security Assist with my PHP page, NONE of my previously created rules appear.

I have no problem creating a 'mirrored' set of rules for my PHP pages, but the session variables I use are not available when setting up the rules for the PHP pages.

How do I establish the session variables for use in the PHP pages ?

You can manually create a session variable on the bindings panel by clicking the plus button, select Session Variabel and enter the name.

Session Variables created on an ASP page cannot be transferred to a PHP page and vice versa.

in other words, when the user login in at login.asp the UserID ASP session variable will not be available to the PHP page. The user would need to login using a PHP page.
