Image File on Page Update

Image File on Page Update

On the update page, I want my client to be able to update any fields on the page but if the image is not required to change then i would expect that DFP2 would keep the current assigned record within it's field but it doesn't. When the update button is pressed the image file field gets updated as blank due to the client not selecting an new image.

Is there an easy way around this? Adobe Dreamweaver Developer Toolbox FileUpload facilities are far superiror to these.

The way you can set this up is to store the uploaded file name in a hidden field when the form is loaded and then set the default file to be set according to the hidden field with the file name in it. If the file field is empty, the upload will be set to the default file rather than blank.
