I've seen the toggle in Local Checkout for recurring

php:
$AuthNet_optional[0][$nextIndex] = "x_recurring_billing";

  $AuthNet_optional[1][$nextIndex] = "NO";

I suspect that you change that to YES and that would be half of your issue solved. I'd recommend that you login to your Authorize.net account and contact LIVE HELP and discuss your recurring billing issue with a support specialist with Authorize.net beyond that.

Of course all of this can be accomplished in TEST MODE.

The x_recurring_billing doesn't really do a lot, it is simply a flag that tells Authorize.net that the payment *should* be recurring. it does not pass a time frame or amount, so you would need to manually convert the transaction by logging into your Authorize.net account.

There is a separate API for Recurring billing that Authorize.net has developed, eCart does not support this API however. You would need to hand code the logic to process the transaction using the recurring billing API.
