if user not live, disable login
Hey Ray, in the attached pages, how would I go about making it so that a user can be made inactive/suspended
I have UserActive which can be set to 0 (Suspended) or 1 (Avtive) in the table pcms2_users ?
Cheers
Jamie

Add UserActive to the list of session variables saved during login on the login page.
Then you can add a check for that value in your rule to verify the value is 1. You may even want to create a second rule for it so you can give a different message to someone if they have an account but it isn't active as opposed to not having an account at all and needing to log in.
Thanks Ray. Got the first bit working, not sure about the second bit with regards to the rule
have done this http://prntscr.com/neayh5 so far... not sue if its right and if it is, what to do with it!
The rule should check that the session variable is equal to 1.
Then you can add that rule check where you want it. It might be easiest to add the same check to your current login access rule, then on your login page you can detect if someone is logged in but not active and show a custom message.
