Validations

Hello Ray,

I am attaching a page where I cannot get the validations working.
Can you please tell me where I am going wrong.
Thank you

John

I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for. What doesn't work exactly. Always fails? Always passes? No error message? Please provide more details.

Sorry Ray, I sent the wrong attachments.
Now rectified.

Click the plus button to add more validations to the server validation server behavior. You will want one row for each field validated. Then you can select each row and edit the field and validation type for each field.

Hiding and showing the validation message is done as a separate step. Highlight the message you want only shown when the error occurs. Then select the server behavior "Webassist->Validations->Validation Show If". Then you can define when the message should or shouldn't be displayed based on the validation result.

Thanks Ray
I did not realize that I had to create a server validation for each field
and then add a show if validation for each message.

Thanks Ray
I am trying to create Persistent fields on the same form.
I wondered if there was a description of how this is carried out.

Later
I found http://www.webassist.com/help/Form-Toolkit/wa_fv_67.html
which Seems to have solved the problem.

Thanks for all the help.

John
