Ray: Connection not working

Ray, you helped me on the phone yesterday to download a database from a site, thx. But, there's a problem. I took the database and uploaded to a sandbox site I have (sezcatuan.com) and everything worked (and still works fine). Today I put in place my client's new domain (meghanlynchrealtor.net) I copied all the files from sezcatuan.com, downloaded and uploaded the database using phpmyadmin, I checked the php type (both are 5.5) and adjusted to connection- I cannot see what I am doing wrong, can you help?

Are you getting an error? What is the issue exactly? I'll probably need a url to view the problem and FTP access to debug why it doesn't work.

No error, the page just hangs when it goes looking for the connection. The connection appears correct,

I added the error message display to the page by adding this to the top of articles.php:

php:
<?php

ini_set
("display_errors",1);
?>

The error implies that the mysql module isn't installed. The error is:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_pconnect() in /home/meghanlynchrealt/public_html/Connections/meghan.php on line 9

I'd contact your hosting provider and report the issue to them, they will have to get mysql enabled in the php.ini file.

All working now, thx Ray- sorry to have bothered you with the last bit, it was the host settings. Feel free to take this thread down if you wish, I forgot it was public in my initial post. Thx again.
