Upgrading old sites to MySQLi

Hi there,

I have a few clients on old MySQL based sites and I am now of course being forced to switch them over to MySQLi based code.

How well does the DataAssist 2 extension work when converting these sites?

Is there a tutorial for the process?

Thanks.

It is really good at updating any old Server Behaviors that use MySQL to MySQLi. You just have to create a MySQLi connection and then open any existing Server Behaviors that use the database and change the connection to re-apply them.

Great,

I will give it a try.

Can you let me know what the extension installation order should be currently?

i.e. which one of your many extensions should be installed first?

Andrew

edit: "ordered" shouldnhave been "installed."

Just install DataBridge last and the order of the others shouldn't matter.
