mysqli::options() expects parameter 1 to be integer
I was checking one of my site's error logs and noticed a number of " [09-Mar-2019 04:38:01 UTC] PHP Warning: mysqli::options() expects parameter 1 to be integer, string given in /home/qcs0uvpopwrf/public_html/Connections/faithcentre.php on line 12" entries. "
Here is my connection script that the MySQLi extension built:
<?php
# FileName="WADYN_MYSQLI_CONN.htm"
# Type="MYSQL"
# HTTP="true"
$hostname_faithcentre = "localhost";
$database_faithcentre = "faithcentre";
$username_faithcentre = "xxxxxxxxxx";
$password_faithcentre = "xxxxxxxxxx";
@session_start();
$faithcentre = mysqli_init();
$faithcentre->options(MYSQLI_OPT_INT_AND_FLOAT_NATIVE, TRUE); [...this is LINE 12 inserted by the MySQLi extension]
$faithcentre->real_connect($hostname_faithcentre, $username_faithcentre, $password_faithcentre, $database_faithcentre) or die("Connect Error: " . mysqli_connect_error());
?>
Do you see anything in my connection script that would be causing this error to be reported in the logs? Everything seems to be working fine... data is going into the database correctly so I'm just curious why these errors/warnings are being reported in the log file.
