Character encoding in emails sent via Universal Email
One of our clients has a webform which normally works fine, however they've started getting some strange character encoding appearing in the responses, such as:
"...wouldn’t change. He is “sad†a lot and can’t give a reason."
I checked the character encoding on the page containing the email wording (webassist/email/contact-form.php) and I have this in the head:
<meta charset="utf-8">
I've also tried adding htmlspecialchars in the echo statement like this:
Message: <?php echo htmlspecialchars((isset($_POST["message"]))?$_POST["message"]:"") ?>
Not sure what else to try?
