Form email not being delivered consistently

Hello Ray,

I have a client with a web form that is emailed to several addresses. Delivery is sporadic to one of the google email addresses. I used the test.php code you gave me to see that the form is successful, and the email addresses are there.I used mail-tester.com as you suggested elsewhere and saw this:

-0.249 HEADER_FROM_DIFFERENT_DOMAINS From and EnvelopeFrom 2nd level mail domains are different
-0.001 HTML_MESSAGE HTML included in message
No worry, that's expected if you send HTML emails

Frankly I have no idea what is going on. I get the form content at my gmail account, the customer does not and they are frustrated.

I have used the software method for quite a while, Have changes been introduced that would cause this?

Do you have the email address you used for mail-tester.com so I can see the full report? It looks like your FROM address doesn't match the domain you send the email FROM, that could definitely be an issue when getting through google's SPAM blocker.

Nothing has changed in the software, but Google has gotten more and more strict about SPAM, so it is more and more difficult to get email delivered from a website instead of a mail client.

I'd try updating to DataBridge v2 and use authenticated email. I've found that is one of the most effective ways to ensure deliver-ability.

Go to mail-tester.com and enter the email address you used:
test-4vsyb@mail-tester.com

Then submit that page and that will give you your spam report and score: 7.7. The two biggest issues are that you don't have a correct SPF record or DKIM signature. There are links on that page on how to correct those issues. Correcting those will get you to 9.7

If you also set your FROM address to a valid email address from the same domain, then I think that would get you to 10/10.
