MySQLI delete parent record deletes records in child table

Hi Ray,

I need to setup a table that will contain guest names and info. They will be able to sign up for activities which would be in related table. I want to delete all of the related records of the activities if the guest is deleted from the guest table.

My starting point would be to run the DataAssist WIzard and have a delete button on the results page. Would I add a second delete behavior on the results page that would delete the related table records?

thx
Eric

Yes. Add a second Delete Server Behavior for the child table and make sure your parent delete doesn't have a redirect page specified.

Hi Ray,

Correctly deletes the parent file but not the child records in the table. I attached a copy.

thx

It appears you are using different lookup column values for the two server behaviors. I think line 30 should be the same as line 13. You can just copy and paste to update them.
